Hello everyone, I just started doing Alternate Fasting and this is my first day of non-eating. My purpose is to cleanse my body from toxins, clear my skin, to get my tummy flat and loose some weight. I am not doing this separately without a physical activity, in my next blog posts I will make sure to post more information about my physical activities.

Famous people like Neil Patel, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Mindy Kaling and many others choose to fasting instead of dieting.

What it is?

Alternate-day fasting (ADF) is an intermittent fasting approach. So the idea is one day eating, one day – only calories free drinks.  This period of non-eating reduces the overall number of calories you take in 48 hours and helps cells to burn stored fats.

How much weight can you lose on alternate day fasting?
Alternate-day fasting reduces calories intake by 37% and helps reducing the body weight with 3.4kg (7.7 pounds) per week!
Does alternate day fasting work?
The Alternate fasting diet helps to shed weight but is not more effective than regular dieting . The thing is that it is an excellent way to not follow strict rules of the diets if you have problems with that and gain more dietary freedom.

What is modified alternate fasting? 

If you’re following a modified ADF approach, you’re also allowed to eat about 500 calories on fasting days, or 20–25% of your energy requirements.

What you drink on fasting days?

  • water
  • unsweetened coffee
  • tea

My first day is done. I am drinking unsweetened tonic all day long. I feel more drained than usual , I worked with people (lives on youtube channels), did workout and walked 2 miles.

I feel overall well, just  a bit dizzy and lighter, but I enjoy this feeling. I think I will be successful at his as there’s no strict rules to follow.
